The problem of New Home and Colchis

Greetings to the people of Joyeuse from Jean Richelieu, ruler of Amondiage. I wish to discuss the problem that is emerging over New Home and Colchis. It appears that New Home is going to send a large diplomatic delegation to Colchis to persuade the people of Colchis to subjugate themselves to New Home rule. Such a move would destabilise the military status quo of the Subsector and is clearly an act of War against all other powers within the Subsector.

Sansterre has already agreed that such action by New Home should be discouraged. I am proposing that we unite against New Home to apply diplomatic pressure, or should that fail, military force to persuade New Home to accept one of the following options:

1) That Colchis be divided up equally between all the interested parties to operate as a co-dominion.

2) Colchis be left as an independent planet with a formal treaty being created to ensure its independence. Should anyone attack Colchis, then they would be subject to attack from every signatory of the treaty.

3) New Home pays every other power interested in Colchis a large indemnity to allow it to take over Colchis. The exact figure would be set by the other powers.

I would be most interested to hear your opinion on this or, any any other problems which beset the Subsectors during these troubled times.
