We should stand together against the French threat

I agree that the British should stand up to the French ‘menace’. I don’t think that they could just pick us off, I have a fleet the size of any two of their entire Naval budgets for the past 10 years put together. And if that doesn’t work, I’ve got another one!

Yes something must be done. You’re fairly surrounded by the French over there and it would take at least 2 month’s notice to get my fleet to your aid in an emergency..
